Welcome to the Lake Quinault Schools website. Over the coming school year we will be adding new content and features to the site.
Now not only parents can see their students grades online. Students may now also see their grades. If you are a student or a parent and would like to see the grades, please see the appropriate post in the Announcement section of the forums.
There are also two different sections to post community information as the school is part of the community. Community members may use the Community forum for announcements. When Mrs. Holland or Mr. Strait are notified, community events can also be put on our web based calendar.
Please use the contact us link if you have any further ideas for this website.

13 June, 2009
Well another school year had ended. We had a great class of 21 8th Grade students move up into High School. We had 17 seniors graduate in an outstanding ceremony. As I walked around the building I could see that the students were ready for a summer vacation and the staff was ready for them to go. There were lots of hugs and well wishes, but all in all it was a great ending to a fantastic year at Lake Quinault.
We do want to say goodbye to three of our staff members. First is Vickie Olson, who is retiring. Vickie served as our school nurse and took care of many of students with their cuts, bruises and fevers. We will miss her, but she will be traveling and watching her grandchildren grow. Sandra Wells is retiring and served as our Special Education teacher. She was instrumental in many of the success stories of our children. Her plans are to garden, make quilts and travel. We wish her the best in her retirement. Finally, we say goodbye to Beth Daneker, our Principal. Beth is moving on after 30 years at Lake Quinault. She will be the new Superintendent/Principal at Mary M. Knight School District. We wish her the best of luck in her new assignment. On a personal note, I want to say how much I appreciated each of them and what they brought to Lake Quinault School District each and every day.
I want everyone to have a Great Summer and have fun. Before you know it school will start again on September 8th.
Please feel free to call me or drop me an email at rdubois@quinault.k12.wa.us. I want to hear from you, because it is our children we are educating and we all are involved.
